Нашла на просторах нета костюм Боромира.
(Сайт англоязычный, с языком у меня тоже плоховато, переводил переводчик, сначала оригинальный текст, потом скрытым текстом перевод)
Вот то что должно получиться в идеале:
The Surcoat
To save money, I made my own pattern. These are the basic pieces that I used. I altered it further, but that's pretty much it.
I used blue vinyl rather than leather both for cost purposes and to save my machine from the distress.
The Trim
Rather than paint on the gold trim, I bought a gold trim and glued it on first then tacked it on by hand sewing.
The Clasps
On either end is a bought clasp that was meant to fit together...
I then bent 18 gage wire (left overs from my Galadriel Crown) to fit it together with the center piece. (in the above scan I hadn't strung the wire through or sewed the clasps on yet.)
The center piece is... get this... a margarine container lid I cut up in the shape of a diamond. *lol* I poked holes in it and stuck the wire through, then painted the entire thing with gold spray paint.
Before the paint dried, I scratched in the image of the tree.
I don't expect this to last forever.. the gold is already flaking off... but I don't have time to sculpty the clasp right now- which is what I intend to do by Dragon Con.
Below is the new clasp I'm in ther process of making...

First I cut wire mesh to the desired size and then bent 24 gage wire into tiny loops that the other wire will fit into. Then I formed sculpty over it and carved the tree design in with a clay tool.
Bend 24 gage wire and fit through the holes in the back of the clasp. Spray paint gold.
More pictures will be up once I get the dang things sewed on the Tunic.
The Shirt (Рубашка)
I used the same pattern for the shirt as I did the over coat, only I added short sleeves to it.
Before I sewed the sleeves on, I used my moms Bernina embroidery machine, which allows me to pick a pattern on the computer and alter it somewhat. I choose something similar, but more simple.

The Chain Mail(Кольчуга)
The chain mail is a sweater I painted with primer and then spray painted chrome. Ut;s a but stiffer than I would have liked it, but it does give the effect.
Fun Foam
(Здесь расписываеться пошагово как делать, эту штуку, честно говоря незнаю как она называеться, мож юноши потом расскажут нам что это)
1.Cut out the basic shape of the vambrace
2.
так вот сам рисунок:
3.Make sure it fits well
4.Trace right through using a very pointy tool. But do not press too hard.
5.Once you have the basic design, go back over the design with much more pressure in order to create a deep line.
Поделиться52008-12-17 12:22:33
6. Using a clay sculpting tool (or butter knife) press in to design where you want it to be indented
7. Iron the design and then color with fabric marker.
8. Buff with shoe polish to make darker.
9. Using fabric paint, color in the designs.
10. cover the entire surface with Decoupage for shiney surface

Bottom piece directions soon to come.
The first set I did was Paper Mache...
I didn't like them much, but will keep up the tutorial
in case someone else wants to see.
The wristguards were made out of paper mache. I started with a flat piece of posterboard and covered it with mod podge and newsprint, shaping it as I went until it was stiff enough. I cut up a pair of old sandles and glued the buckles in place for the front part and will use velcro on the back part.
Then I cut out another piece of cardboard for the leather piece and cut the pattern into it before I glued it onto the first piece. I covered the entire thing with a few coats of mod podge to give it the right 'leather like' texture.
Then I painted the under piece with DecoArt No-Prep Bright Silver Metal Paint and the leather part with DecoArt Dark Chocolate Americana Arcylic. To get the highlights I took a white colored pencil and drew them in.
I then covered the leather part in glossy Mod Podge and painted on the tree and the side decoration with an 18 kt Gold Leafing Pen from Krylon.

Костюм Эльфийский.
(сайт англоязычный, вообщем с переводом дела обстоят так же)
Lindir, Minstel of Imladris.
'Maybe. To sheep other sheep no doubt appear different,' laughed Lindir. 'Or to shepherds. But Mortals have not been out study. We have other business.'
Among some of my favorite, lesser mentioned Elves of Lord of the Rings are included the sons of Elrond, Glorfindel, Erestor, Gildor, Haldir and his brothers and the merry Elf who teased Bilbo, Lindir. Maybe believe Lindir to be a minstrel, and I admit that is my assumption as well. It is also believed that Lindir is fair-haired, possibly possessing the blood of Sindar or Silvan Elves. That is also my assumption and I have picked up this Elf walking in Arwen's procession from Imladris as who I believe Lindir to be.
The most difficult parts of making this costume was purchasing the right materials and altering patterns. I will once again use Butterick pattern #5944 as my base, altering the pattern a little for both the inner and outer robes. I will use ivory silk dupioni and silver clasps for the outer robe, and french lilac silk dupioni for the inner robe and sash; all the dupioni was purchased off of eBay. The inner robe will be held in place by a lace up back rather than a zipper (much more elvish in style). The sash will tie at the front of the waist, as shown; future sashes for other similar costumes will lace up in the back like some of belts for other LoTR costumes.
I plan to remove the sleeves for the inner robe--easier movement and less material to bulk up--and slope the front of the mandarin collar a bit. Since the back will lace up, the collar will be split at the back of the neck for easier on and off. All of the side and front seams will be closed; using the pattern this does not allow a lot of movement so I plan to add triangular panels to the sides from the waist down to give the "skirt" more fullness.
The collar for the outer robe will be removed entirely, and the front panels will overlap, held in place by clasps, snaps and/or hooks and eyes. The sleeves will have the leaf-shaped wraps, which will take some experimenting on a mock-up to get right. The front hem will be rounded and open in the front for style and ease of movement. The sash will be simple and undecorated; I am hoping the sleeve wraps and light colors will give off the suggestion that this is a male Elf's costume. The first photos of this costume will be the mock-up, which I will make as I wait for the fabric to arrive.
Shots of the french lilac silk dupioni I'll be using for the inner robe, and the ivory silk dupioni for the outer robe.
A mock-up in cheap muslim I made in two and a half hours for the inner robe. Everything written in pink are notes to myself. The lacing system for the back will be used for the inner robe.

This is the finished inner robe and sash. All but the hemming is completed; I plan to do the hem when the outer robe is complete so they are the same length despite their different widths. The lacing system was reversed after this picture was taken to give my head more room.
Mock-up of the outer robe and detail on the leaf-wrap sleeves. The mock-up is pictured here with the inner robe and sash to show how they all fit together.
And the completed costume! It's all read for wear to the Oscar party!

Long Vest/ Jerkin
Leather (or wool?) with leather trim (~3-4 ounces). Same type of lacing as for the mantle. Split in the middle at the front and at the back up to the waist. Also split on the sides with lacing. Ends at buttock/groin level. No lacing at the bottom (~6 to 8 inches).
Dark brown, black or dark grey (varies by ranger) leather jerkin, with a brown woolen underlayer to it. The front is held shut with laces through grommets (lots of them), the sides each have four pairs of D-rings through which lacings pass.
Tabard/Skirt

Mantle /Yoke /Gorget
(We've got two descriptions that quite match, but this may be because the rangers wear slightly different outfits.)
This is in addition to the Cloak. It is thick wool (or double wool thickness) with leather trim. Split in the middle with grommets in the leather trim. Laces upward with ties at the neck. Covers the shoulders until they meet the arms. Tip is triangular and end at around plexus (tip of the sternum level) but varies slightly. The edges are bound and it is laced. (Rom exhibit)
--------------------------
Rust-brown leather gorget (yoke), laced up with (probably) 11 pairs of grommets. It appears to be made out of one piece, with no shoulder seams. The strap holding the cloak in place disappears into the gorget through a pair of reinforced slit in the front. (London exhibit)
